Snowfall: The Endless Winter
It is officially the 3rd anniversary of Snowfall: The Game! I've improved a lot at coding over the years, so I figured I'd completely remake the game with all-new art, code, music, and gameplay. Many of the characters are the same, but I've added some new ones as well.
This game isn't completely finished, and I hope to add more stuff in the upcoming weeks. If you notice any bugs or have any suggestions, feel free to leave a comment!

Welcome to Rinkusu Island, a once-magical island home to lynxes now cursed with an endless winter.
You are born to Cinnamon and Oak, leaders of a small tribe of lynxes seeking refuge from the harsh wilderness. Will you be able to stop the winter?

can someone tell m how to heal? im currently a healer apprentice and i have gotten all my stats to where i need besides healing xd
edit: nvm! figured out how
um I unlived a elk but it showed an unalivened fox and it gave me fox meat and a fox pelt and I'm just wondering if you can take care of that.

Hey! This is a great game! But question - how do I train to be a warrior after finishing the formal lessons?
Thanks! You have to have 50 fighting, 25 hunting, and 25 healing if I remember correctly. You can practice fighting with Rock in the training den, hunt to improve your hunting, and sell herbs by clicking on the shelves in the medicine den to improve your healing.

PineFrost lived a happy long hunter life with her mate dusk, and her 4 kits. She died from a mean moose.
Very fun, the music is so relaxing, and the artstyle is super cute! so far the only bugs i've encountered is:
When i turn dynamic clouds settings on and then off the clouds are still there which make it really laggy but luckily all you have to do is go to another area and it goes back to normal.
If you train/fight with rock, then go outside the den before finishing it then he follows you around like a ghost. Only way i was able to fix it so far is by restarting.
Your kit's health bar covering buttons+lagging when i hover on it.
When killing an elk it turns into a fox as a corpse, but when you sell it's pelt then it says elk pelt.
Being able to talk to your mate and kits in the nursery once you die.
Where is Rock?
rock is inside the training den past the rock i think.
This is the coolest game but can u make it so the stuff costs less? like the critical condition healing is 30 coins could u make it like 20 or 15 coins??
Thank you! I'll probably make it cost less in the next update, but in the meantime you can also sleep (at night) and eat herbs to restore your health :)

Can you have mates in this game? If so how?
Yeah, you can be mates with Robin, Willow, Dusk, or Ridge. Keep talking to them (once a day) and giving them gifts (twice a day) to raise your relationship with them. Once you’re at 4 stars, give them a bouquet (from Java’s cafe). Then keep giving them gifts until you’re at 4 hearts. Then you can propose to them using a diamond from Java’s cafe.

So the cafe library doesn't work and when I looked at the code to make sure I was inputting things right there was no code for reading books? I don't know if you forgot or if it is a future update but I was super confuzzled
And when I sell things to the cafe merchant sometimes he will sell that item and the number down from the original one I was trying to sell, which makes me sell two items
I tried to sell herbs to the merchant and he said I should give them to the healer (iforgorhername) when I tried to give them to her by the gifting way she just commented about the place being dirty and then told me about sleep so maybe I'm doing something wrong? Also might be a glitch though.
But other than that this game is super fun and I love how big and fun it is for a scratch game!!! (The character design is *Chefs Kiss*, especially Hickory, I don't know why but I love him)

3) You can sell the herbs by clicking on the shelves in the back of the healer's den.

Thanks for the answers!! Your game has honestly been an inspo for me because my current WIP is huge and I'm worried it'll break from the sheer size but this project gives me hope so yay! (also the last message idk why but it might've come off as nit-picky, I promise I wasn't trying to be mean)
I found a glitch, where if you keep tapping the jump button over and over you end up flying, you go back on the ground once you go to a different area, but I just thought I’d let you know

I like that the dev logs fun to read
Hopefully you'll get more free time so can read more of them (or so you can take a rest from being so busy at least)
As for the game itself, I like that this game is easily replayable since a lot of games I end up playing get boring after awhile or don't feel the same going through them again
I also like how there's a good bit of customisation you can do for the player character along with there usually being something to do
(This also got me into wanting to read Warrior Cats)

Thank you! I'm glad you enjoyed it :D Yeah, I was trying to focus on making the gameplay loop rewarding and adding a bit of randomization so it wouldn't get stale too quickly
